Leading the team at Platform Consulting Group, Jeff has over 20 years of experience in the New Zealand commercial property and construction industry. Through his career, Jeff has developed strong professional relationships and networks in the corporate and private sectors in the Commercial Property, and represented many high profile clients as project director, including Watercare, Restaurant Brands, Nestlé, and Competenz, as well as blue chip businesses from legal firms to industry-leading developers. Senior Project Manager – Licensed Building Practitioner
Daisy has a successful track record of delivery in the fields of commercial fit outs, building upgrades, refurbishments and integration with new builds. A personal commitment to every project and client results in successful delivery and outcomes for all stakeholders. An excellent communicator with an unflappable approach, Daisy strives to ensure potential issues are resolved before problems arise. Her technical expertise and experience gives her a clear perspective of the project life cycle from the design process through to the build, compliance and completion ready for occupation. Daisy is credited with many successful projects across a number of sectors including large commercial office fit outs, education and healthcare, for clients such as St John, Fuji, USL, Meredith Connell, Bayleys and L’Oreal.
Commercial Manager – Bachelor of Property, Bachelor of Construction Management
Working in construction and corporate property since 2001, Simon spent nine years abroad before joining us as Commercial Manager. He is the first point of contact with clients, and responsible for developing business and managing project strategy. Having worked with multi nationals in both established and frontier markets, his vast knowledge of property transactions and project delivery, ensures he’s well versed in the process from feasibility, to design, implementation and aftercare. A typical day for Simon includes meeting new & existing Clients, negotiating commercial proposals, assisting design and project delivery and developing business where he meets interesting people across a breadth of industries. Simon holds a Bachelor of Property from the University of Auckland and a Bachelor of Construction Management from Unitec Institute of Technology.
Senior Project Manager – Diploma in Business Management, Qualified Builder
Since 2001, Tim has built a sound reputation within the construction industry, in both New Zealand and the United Kingdom. With experience across large-scale residential and commercial developments, as well as commercial fit outs, Tim plays a highly professional, effective and hands-on role in any project. He has successfully developed both green and brown field sites and has managed high value, demanding projects from concept to handover. A combined trade and business management background lends him the decisive ability to solve challenges and maintain control over critical paths and budgets, without ever losing sight of the big picture.
Design Manager and Workplace Strategist - BA hons Interior Design
Previously a Director of BAAK Design, Alex joined us in 2015, bringing with her an impressive stable of valued clients. This enables her to concentrate on her core skills – commercial interior design and workplace strategy. Fortunate to graduate into a booming London economy, Alex gained a wealth of experience in workplace design, particularly during ten years as Director of Radiate Design. Alex has more than two decades working with global and New Zealand clients such as Royal Bank of Canada, Gartmore, Pfizer, Mars and Mitre 10. Her role includes client liaison, strategic planning, concept design, space planning, and detailed design. She works closely with the team to ensure the design truly reflects the client’s vision. Alex remains hands-on throughout each project, to provide a seamless and innovative solution every time.
Project and Contracts Manager - Bachelor of Property
Matt holds a Bachelor of Property and is a licenced Real Estate Sales Person – making him a truly client-orientated project manager. He loves the team aspect of his role, coordinating designers, contractors and sub-contractors to achieve great results. With a mix of attention to detail and sheer passion for his job, Matt brings his past experience and insights as a leasing and sales agent for Bayleys. He also previously managed the portfolio of Bayleys office locations, undertaking lease and purchase negotiations, and managing the refurbishment of existing sites. Matt was contracting to Platform throughout 2015 and officially joined the team in January 2016 and already has many successful projects under his belt: Matt’s favourites so far have been; refurbishing Ponsonby's 3 Lamps Plaza, refurbishing a 5 story building in a prominent Newmarket location and managing the fast delivery of a Paediatric tenancy fit out in North West Shopping Mall. What gets him out of bed in the morning is the thrilled reaction of clients on seeing their new space.
Marketing and Operations
Abbey has been with us since we started, supporting our management, design and project teams. As an administrative whiz, her role has developed across all aspects of the business. With several years’ experience in office administration and executive assistant roles, Abbey understands the importance of supporting our team to serve our clients. Working behind the scenes in the daily operation of Platform Consulting Group, she has her finger on the pulse of all active projects: coordinating with the external project team and clients. Currently completing her BBUS Degree in Management and Marketing, Abbey puts her theory into practice daily as an integral part of the marketing team and working closely with the Managing Director.
Wynn says his days fly by, with no two the same. His role as Architectural Designer encompasses space planning, 3D visualisation and drawing documentation. With a Bachelor of Architecture, he brings an impeccable combination of accuracy and style to his projects, which have recently included commercial interior fit outs for Bayleys and Datacom in Auckland and Tavendale and Partners in Christchurch. Before joining our team, Wynn built up an impressive portfolio of successful commercial interiors in New Zealand and a range of architectural design projects overseas. He loves his creative role, and armed with a wide knowledge of building techniques, systems and cutting-edge technologies, he designs beautiful spaces which align seamlessly with each client’s business, culture and objectives.
Amanda has recently returned from London and joined us to coordinate our design partners, streamline business operations and head up the furniture division and associated FF&E procurement needs of the business. Having worked both locally and abroad on both small and large projects, she is experienced delivering successful projects on time and on budget across global, complex and multi-site organisations. She is a diligent, personable and highly motivated individual and with 10 years’ experience in the commercial furniture industry she is a trusted pair of hands when it comes to delivering comprehensive furniture packages. Results driven with deep product knowledge she is able to provide an essential connection between design and delivery.
Project Manager - Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) and a Diploma in Project Management
Anien is passionate, driven and strives for excellence in all she does. She holds a Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) and a Diploma in Project Management. Anien has a busy role at Platform Consulting as a Project Manager. She brings a positive and energetic approach to her work with a focus of achieving good outcomes and building strong relationships along the way.
Anien works closely alongside senior project managers bringing projects to successful conclusions.
Since 2004 Josh has been involved in commercial construction and construction management. He is a graduate of University of Auckland, where he earned his Master’s in Architecture. Josh has successfully managed commercial projects in healthcare, office, retail, and hospitality markets throughout Australia and New Zealand. Josh’s involvement is from design and conception right through to practical completion and client handover, Josh prides himself on making sure projects are delivered to the highest quality and within budget by effectively managing all variables and stakeholders.
