As the Owner of 54 Cook Street, Augusta Capital have commissioned Platform Consulting Group as Project Manager to undertake an integrated base building shell upgrade and tenant fit-out which will house the new JUCY Snooze Auckland.
The multi-level building occupies close to 6,500sqm and was in need of a full refurbishment to house the new JUCY Snooze hotel, following success of the JUCY Snooze hotels in both Christchurch and Queenstown. JUCY Snooze Auckland will offer accommodation for over 400 guests, accommodation options include double rooms, ensuite rooms, and enclosed pod beds. The upgraded premises, which sits on the corner of Cook and Nelson Streets, will also house the JUCY organisation as their new Headquarters.
The building upgrade includes considerable shell and core modifications, structural and seismic upgrades, a vast improvement to the facade with full replacement to the South and East building face’s, plus new internal lifts, staircase and building amenities.
Platform Consulting Group is working in partnership with CPRW as the Architect and Designer, BBD as the Estimating Q.S. and Cape Limited as the Main Contractor.
Practical completion is April 2020.
