Olympus is a worldwide manufacturer of optical and digital technology for medical systems, digital cameras and scientific solutions. For its New Zealand headquarters, it wanted to relocate to a state-of-the-art premises providing a number of solutions: an Olympus Live marketing showroom, a fully functioning service lab for medical and industrial endoscopes, onsite training spaces, and a base for the sales team with a penthouse meeting space and breakout areas.
Platform Consulting helped Olympus achieve this over three floors of a new building in Albany, utilising one level as a lab, another as the showroom and the top floor for staff facilities. The design followed strict clinical guidelines, with many areas requiring a sink as well as appropriately sourced materials. The client was delighted we fulfilled their brief for a ‘white and glossy’ look, with all the elements successfully coming together to create a business under one roof.
