The growing firm was keen to relocate from Northcroft Street in Takapuna to new offices in Byron Avenue and double the firm’s floor space. Allianz’s relocation and new tenancy fit out coincided with the lease expiry on Northcroft Street, and the need to expand to accommodate business growth. As Allianz was moving  into a new building, in a practical sense the project also entailed providing a smooth transition relocating away from the existing 600sqm space to the new 1200sqm premises. The client’s vision was to create a collaborative working environment and enhanced workplace that better represented the international profile and ethos of the Allianz Group.

Platform Consulting Group worked closely with both tenant and landlord to integrate the base build with the tenancy fit out. This was designed to maximise benefits and create a seamless integration process for both parties. The design outcome is a unique modern office space with selected exposed services and a statement, interconnecting staircase that internally connects staff across two levels. Our team delivered the project within budget, and comfortably on time to coincide with the previous tenancy lease expiry and the start of the new tenancy lease agreement.
