BBD relocated their office from Shortland Street to a new tenancy just across the street. The decision to move was driven by a strategic vision to enhance the company’s workspace, aligning it more closely with their evolving corporate identity and fostering a sense of community among employees while also providing space for team expansion. The overarching aim was to create an environment that not only maximised the potential of the space but also captured the essence of BBD’s values and culture.

Central to the design was a strong commitment to sustainability. Recognising the environmental impact associated with construction and fitout projects, BBD prioritised the reuse of existing elements within the tenancy. This not only minimised waste but also showcased their commitment to responsible business practices.

The design strived to update the aesthetics, cultivating an inviting ambiance that exuded warmth and professionalism, while also instilling a unique sense of ownership and identity specific to BBD.

A notable aspect of the new office layout was the lively staff kitchen, conceived not merely as a functional area, but as a welcoming hub where employees could gather, collaborate, and relax.

In addition to fostering internal cohesion, BBD also prioritized creating spaces that would leave a lasting impression on their clients. Special attention was given to areas designated for client meetings and presentations. These spaces were meticulously designed to exude elegance and sophistication, incorporating sleek furnishings, refined finishes and an atmosphere designed to provide a memorable experience for visitors.
