Bayleys Northwest

We have been working with Bayleys since 2015 when we completed their head office in Auckland. Since then there has been a steady role out of refurbishment of their retail branches across the country – bringing them up to date with their brand and market placement.

Bayleys Northwest is our most recent branch. Though we do start with the clear brand guidelines and finishes we have developed for their branches – we always look at the location and building to give the space a uniqueness. The unit at Northwest occupies a corner site, which gives it great visibility in the precinct. Within the space it is always a fine balance between customer and staff usage – there is a need for office space but also for large flexible space for auctions.

The key is to create flexible, multi functional spaces to maximise the usage of the whole tenancy throughout the day. The main reception has entry off both streets and is the focal point of the space, off this space is the main boardroom – which has sliding, stacking doors, enabling it to be opened up completely to the reception; making it ideal for Auctions and functions. It can also be closed off and used for staff training and meetings.

The reception doubles up as break out space for agents as well as breakout space or overflow from an auction. So overall the branch, though not that large can be used by agents as a great tool to aid them selling property, whether they are based in that branch or elsewhere within the Bayleys network.
