Platform Consulting Group was engaged to design and deliver three new tenancies, one of which would become Goodman’s own workplace hub, with the remaining two prepared for future tenants, including a full WC block refurbishment. The brief drew inspiration from our previous work with Goodman at Johnson Corner — evolving the design language to create a space that is both uniquely theirs and highly functional for a mobile workforce.
The tenancy occupies a prominent corner site chosen for its visibility across the precinct. Once a deep, enclosed conference centre, the space was transformed through the introduction of new rear windows and two skylights, flooding the interior with natural light. The ceiling has been opened to its maximum height, with exposed services contributing to a refined industrial feel.
Designed as a flexible hub, the office supports both full-time staff and those based in the city who utilise the space as needed, blending permanent workstations with hot desks and collaborative zones. We also worked closely with Goodman to reuse and integrate existing furniture, supplementing it where required to maintain cohesion.
The result is a workplace that feels open, honest, and connected — a thoughtful reflection of Goodman’s values and their commitment to creating exceptional environments across their portfolio.
