Ricoh’s New Zealand headquarters relocated from a three-floor office space on Victoria Street West, with a combined area of approximately 3,000m², to one main floor on level 3, 34 Sale Street and partial Ground Floor to circa 1,700m2 following a review of workplace efficiencies.
The new Sale Street premises was designed to accommodate Ricoh’s workplace operations, facilitate client meetings, and include a ground floor showroom to showcase their cutting-edge technology offerings to Ricoh clients.
The project undertaken by Platform Design and Project management teams included an extensive fit out encompassing both hard and soft FF&E aspects, as well as a relocation process moving from Victoria Street West to Sale Street.
The overarching goal behind the move was to establish a semi-agile office environment that serves as a testament to Ricoh’s cutting-edge workplace technology, catering to the demands of the modern office landscape.
The successful completion of this project resulted in a state-of-the-art office space that not only meets the functional needs of Ricoh’s workplace operations but also exceeds expectations in terms of client engagement and technology showcasing. The new office on Sale Street is a testament to Ricoh’s commitment to innovation and client-centric services.
